PHOENIX, AZ - MTX Audio, of the MiTek Electronics and Communications Group, announced the release of the S65 subwoofer series at the upcoming 2016 CES to be held January 6-9, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. The S65 Series is designed to deliver unmatched SPL output using a patented surround design.

The S65 Series features a square design utilizing MTX Audio's patented surround geometry (US Patent #7,275,620) that allows for increased Xmax and lower distortion resulting in higher SPL and better sound quality. Additional functional technologies include MTX's Spider Plateau Venting, which mechanically targets cool air at the voice coil, and a t-yoke with integrated heat sink to further assist in removing hot air from the voice coil ensuring reliability and minimized distortion. The S65 is uses a similar motor structure to the popular 55 Series but with a larger magnet, allowing each S65 model to handle up to 500-watts RMS power. The S65 Series is available in both 12" and 10" sizes in dual 4Ω configurations and will be shipping in early March 2016.

Las Vegas, NV, January 4th, 2016 - MTX Audio, of the MiTek Electronics and Communications Group, announced the release of the MUD6SP universal motorsports sound bar at the upcoming 2016 CES to be held January 6-9, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. The MUD6SP is based off the popular MUD6SPBT and allows for increased flexibility.

The MUD6SP is a six speaker, all-weather sound bar that features four 3" full range speakers and two 1" tweeters. An internal amplifier powers the unit and an integrated wiring harness is included for easy connection to the vehicle's electrical system. The unit includes an innovative mounting system that allows the low profile mounts to be attached on the top, bottom, or back enabling the user to attach it to the best location on their UTV. Audio connections include an auxiliary input and output. The MUD6SP can be used by itself with a direct connection to any device with a 3.5mm output. The unit can also be used in conjunction with a MUD6SPBT using the auxiliary input to connect the two systems together allowing the user to double the number of speakers used and to enable the use of Bluetooth through the MUD6SPBT. The MUD6SP will be shipping in early February 2016 with a MRP of $399.95.

The THUNDER Series consists of four models, a 6.5", 6.5" with 15 degree angle, 8", and dual 6.5" LCR. Each model features Kevlar woofers and Teteron tweeters that deliver deep low frequencies and accurate high frequencies. Designed to be used in either in-wall or in-ceiling home theater applications with both round and square magnetic grilles included with all models except the LCR and with RMS power handling up to 150-watts, the THUNDER series is perfect for any high power home theater or music application. All models are available as single units making them even more appealing to integrators and distributors for installing 5-channel, 7-channel, and even 9-channel systems.
